The IDIBGI Biobank unveils a website for the scientific community and donorsBiobanc IdibGIComments off.
The IDIBGI Biobank has presented a new website, as part of its 5th anniversary, with contents addressed both to researchers in the field of biomedicine as well as patients interested in making a donation.
The intuitive, easy-to-browse website contains information about the Biobank (what it does, its organisational structure, quality control policy, collaborating entities, news…), the collections of biological samples and the services which it makes available to the scientific community to continue researching diseases such as diabetes, obesity, cancer, multiple sclerosis and strokes, among others. Samples and services can also be requested online.
The IDIBGI Biobank was created in 2013 and supports researchers from institutions which are under the umbrella of the Dr Josep Trueta Girona Biomedical Research Institute (IDIBGI). It forms part of the Spanish National Biobank Network of the Institute of Health Carlos III and the Catalan Biobank Network.Posted in: Biobank
